LABOR AND INDUSTRY FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE MINUTES

Representative Michael Nelson, Chair of the Labor and Industry Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 1:02 P.M. on February 15th, 2024, in Room 10 of the State Office Building. It was broadcast via House Public Information Services.

A quorum was present.

Representative Berg moved that the minutes of April 27, 2023, be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 3516 (Moller) Oral fluid testing procedures authorized as a preemployment alternative for drug, alcohol, and cannabis testing by employers.

Chair Nelson moved that HF 3516 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

Representative Moller moved the H3516A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Moller presented HF 3516 as amended.

Chair Nelson renewed the motion to move that HF 3516, as amended, be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.
