LABOR AND INDUSTRY FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE MINUTES

Representative Michael V. Nelson, Chair of the Labor and Industry Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 1:01 P.M. on March 7th, in Room 10 of the State Office Building. It was broadcast via House Public Information Services.

A quorum was present.

Representative Myers moved that the minutes of March 5, 2024, be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 3587 (Bahner) Employers required to disclose salary ranges in job postings.

Chair Nelson moved that HF 3587 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

Chair Nelson renews his motion that HF 3587 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

HF4569 (Howard) Wage theft prevented and use of responsible contractors required when Minnesota Housing Finance Agency provides financial assistance for development of multiunit residential housing.

Chair Nelson moved that HF 4569 be re-referred to the Housing Finance and Policy Committee.

Chair Nelson moved the H4569A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Nelson renews his motion that HF 4569, as amended, be re-referred to the Housing Finance and Policy committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 2364 (Tabke) Petroleum products transporting requirements amended.

Chair Nelson moved that HF 2364 be re-referred to the General Register.

Chair Nelson renews his motion that HF 2364 be re-referred to the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
