PUBLIC SAFETY FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES

Representative Kelly Moller, Chair of the Committee on Public Safety Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:31 AM on, March 14th, 2024, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Mueller moved the minutes of March 12th, 2024, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 3650 (Kozlowski) Grand Portage Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Tribal coast guard services funding provided, and money appropriated.

Chair Moller moved that HF3650 be placed on the General Register.

Chair Moller moved the HF3650DE1 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT IS ADOPTED.

Representative Kozlowski presented HF3650 as amended.

Chair Moller renewed the motion that HF3560 as amended be placed on the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 4641 (Long) Reckless driving resulting in great bodily harm or death excluded from list of offenses eligible for automatic expungement, waiting period for petition for expungement reduced in certain cases, and offering forged check offenses clarified to be eligible for expungement.

Chair Moller moved that HF4641 be placed on the General Register.
