PUBLIC SAFETY FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES

Representative Kelly Moller, Chair of the Committee on Public Safety Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 6:01 PM on, March 20th, 2024, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Huot moved the minutes of March 19th, 2024, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 3966 (Wolgamott): Public safety telecommunicator training and continuing education requirements established, Public Safety Telecommunicator Training and Standards Board established, rulemaking authorized, report required, and money appropriated.

Chair Moller moved that HF3966 be laid over.

Representative Wolgamott and Representative Igo co-presented HF3966.

Representative Curran moved the HF4657A1 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED THE AMENDMENT IS ADOPTED.

Vice Chair Feist moved that HF3991 be re-referred to the Committee on Judiciary Finance and Civil Law.
