Representative Kelly Moller, Chair of the Public Safety Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:31 AM on February 16, 2023, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

Representative Feist moved that the minutes from February 14, 2023, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF 824 (Curran) Different discharge plans from county jails provided, county reentry coordination programs provided, and money appropriated.
Chair Moller moved to lay over HF 824.
Rep. Curran moved the H0824A2 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

HF 1355 (Moller) E-filing of disposition of detainers authorized, language access provided to limited English proficient individuals under authority of Department of Corrections, statutory language regarding substance use disorder assessment process amended to reflect current standards of care, warrant authority for inmate failing to report post sentencing included, Shakopee correctional facility offers challenge incarceration program clarified, Advisory council of Interstate Adult Supervision combined with Interstate Commission for Juveniles, intensive community supervision program law repealed, mechanism for funding probation services resulting from transition of services to Department of Corrections provided.
Chair Moller moved that HF 1355 be placed on the General Register.
