Rules and Legislative Administration Committee Minutes

Representative Jamie Long, Chair of the Committee on Rules and Legislative Administration, called the meeting to order at 10:10 am on April 9, 2024, in the State Office Building Basement Hearing Room.

Vice Chair Hollins moved the minutes from April 8, 2024. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Long moved the adoption of the Calendar for the Day pursuant to rule 1.21 & 3.33, The Committee on Rules and Legislative Administration designates Thursday, April 11, 2024 for the adoption of the Calendar for the Day and has established a pre-filing requirement for amendments offered to those bills. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Long Pursuant to Joint Rule 2.03 moved to refer HF4713 to the Committee on Health Finance and Policy. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Long Pursuant to Joint Rule 2.03 moved to refer HF4728 to the Committee on Taxes. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
