Rules and Legislative Administration Committee Minutes

Representative Jamie Long, Chair of the Committee on Rules and Legislative Administration, called the meeting to order at 9:34 am on May 18, 2024, in the Capitol Room 120.

A quorum was present.

Vice Chair Hollins moved the minutes from May 17, 2024.

Representative Jodan moved to orally amend the Minutes by striking May 15 and adding May 17.

Chair Long moved to orally amend the Minutes by striking May 19 and adding May 18.

The minutes as amended were approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Long moved the 2024-R27 Resolution on Waiver of Dates. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Long moved HF5435 be placed on the General Register.

Representative Becker-Finn presented the bill.

Chair Long renewed the motion for HF5435 to be placed on the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The committee recessed at 9:41 am and did not reconvene.
