PROPERTY TAX DIVISION MINUTES

Representative Dave Lislegard, Chair of the Division on Property Tax, called the meeting to order at 10:30 A.M. on April 3, 2024, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Gomez moved that the minutes of March 27, 2024, be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Lislegard moved that HF 5164 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Property Tax Division Report.

Representative Vang presented HF 5164.

Chair Lislegard renewed his motion that HF 5164 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Property Tax Division Report. The bill was laid over.

Chair Lislegard moved that HF 5213 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Property Tax Division Report.

Vice Chair Lee moved the H5198A1 amendment for adoption.

Chair Lislegard presented the H5198A1 amendment.

Vice Chair Lee renewed her motion that the H5198A1 amendment be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Lislegard presented HF 5198 as amended.

Vice Chair Lee renewed her motion that HF 5198 as amended be laid over for possible inclusion in the Property Tax Division Report. The bill was laid over.

Chair Lislegard moved that HF 1342 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Property Tax Division Report.

Chair Lislegard moved the H1342A1 amendment for adoption.

Representative Elkins presented the H1342A1 amendment.

Chair Lislegard renewed his motion that the H1342A1 amendment be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Elkins presented HF 1342 as amended.

Chair Lislegard renewed his motion that HF 1342 as adopted be laid over for possible inclusion in the Property Tax Division Report. The bill was laid over.

Chair Lislegard moved that HF 5177 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Property Tax Division Report.

Representative Gillman presented HF 5177.
