WAYS AND MEANS COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES

Representative Liz Olson, Chair of the Committee on Ways and Means, called the meeting to order at 9:01 A.M. on, Thursday April 13, 2023, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

Vice Chair Edelson moved that the minutes of April 12, 2023, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

2023 House Budget Resolution Coded BUDRES03

Chair Olson moved BUDRES03 before the committee.

Chair Olson moved the A01 amendment to BUDRES03. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Olson moved to adopt BUDRES03 as amended. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF2335 (Howard) Omnibus Housing Finance Bill.

Representative Howard moved that HF 2335 be re-referred to the General Register.

Representative Howard moved the A17 amendment to HF 2335. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Howard moved the A14 amendment to HF 2335. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Pinto moved that HF 238 be re-referred to the General Register.

Representative Pinto moved the A6 amendment to HF 238. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Pinto moved the A7 amendment to HF 238. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

HF2292 (Pinto) Prekindergarten programs modified, and money appropriated.

Representative Pinto moved that HF 2292 be re-referred to the General Register.

Representative Pinto moved the DE2 amendment to HF 2292.

Representative Pinto presented the DE2 amendment to HF 2292.

Representative Pinto moved the A1 amendment to the DE2 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT, TO THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Pinto renewed the motion to adopt the DE2 amendment as amended to HF 2292. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT, AS AMENDED WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Youakim moved that HF 2497 be re-referred to the General Register.

Representative Youakim moved the A10 amendment to HF 2497. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
