WAYS AND MEANS COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES

Representative Liz Olson, Chair of the Committee on Ways and Means, called the meeting to order at 10:32 A.M. on, Monday, March 11, 2024, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Vice Chair Edelson moved that the minutes of February 26, 2024, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Vice Chair Edelson moved that the minutes of March 6, 2024, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF4518 (Youakim) Education finance forecast adjustments made, and money appropriated.

Representative Youakim moved that HF 4518 be placed on the General Register.

Representative Youakim presented HF 4518.

Representative Youakim renewed the motion that HF 4518 be placed on the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF3613 (Hornstein) Forecasted Metro Mobility funding clarifications provided.

Representative Hornstein moved that HF 3613 be placed on the General Register.

Representative Hornstein presented HF 3613.

Representative Hornstein renewed the motion that HF 3613 be placed on the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Olson recessed the meeting at 10:45 A.M.

Chair Olson reconvened the meeting at 4:50 P.M.

HF3769 (Lislegard) Corporate franchise tax provisions modified; effective date modified of a reduction in the limitation on the deductibility of net operating losses.

Representative Gomez moved that HF 3769 be placed on the General Register.

Representative Gomez presented HF 3769.
