WAYS AND MEANS COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES

Representative Liz Olson, Chair of the Committee on Ways and Means, called the meeting to order at 10:32 A.M. on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Vice Chair Edelson moved that the minutes from May 6, 2024, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF5220 (Lee. F) Capital investment; spending authorized to acquire and better public land and buildings and for other improvements of a capital nature, new programs established and existing programs modified, prior appropriations modified and canceled, bonds issued, and money appropriated.

Chair Olson moved that HF 5220 be placed on the General Register.

Chair Olson moved the A5 amendment to HF 5220. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Lee presented HF 5220 as amended.

Chair Olson renewed the motion that HF 5220, as amended, be placed on the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF5162 (Lee. F) Capital investment; spending authorized to acquire and better land and buildings and for other improvements of a capital nature, programs established and modified, prior appropriations canceled, and money appropriated.

Chair Olson moved that HF 5162 be placed on the General Register.

Chair Olson moved the A5 amendment to HF 5162. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Lee presented HF 5162 as amended.

Chair Olson renewed the motion that HF 5162, as amended, be placed on the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The meeting adjourned at 11:31 A.M.
