WAYS AND MEANS COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES

Representative Liz Olson, Chair of the Committee on Ways and Means, called the meeting to order at 9:30 A.M. on Friday, May 17, 2024, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Vice Chair Edelson moved that the minutes of May 13, 2024, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

SF2219 (Stephenson) Premium discounts and rate reductions provided, strengthen Minnesota homes program established, account established, and rulemaking authorized.

Chair Olson moved that SF 2219 be placed on the General Register.

Chair Olson moved the DE2 amendment to SF 2219. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Stephenson presented SF 2219 as amended.

Chair Olson renewed the motion that SF 2219, as amended, be placed on the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Olson recessed the committee at 9:39 A.M.

The meeting adjourned at the end of the legislative day.
