WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE

Representative Jay Xiong, Chair of the Workforce Development Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 6:07 PM on April 24th, 2024 in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Becker-Finn moved that the minutes of April 17, 2024 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Brand moved that the minutes of April 19, 2024 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 5363 (Frazier); Minnesota Paid Leave Law; paid leave provisions modified.

Representative Frazier moved that HF 5363 be re-referred to the Committee on Judiciary Finance & Civil Law.

Representative Frazier moved an oral amendment to the A6 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMDENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Fraizer moved the A6 amendment as amended. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMDENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Frazier presented HF 5363 as amended.
