WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE

Representative Jay Xiong, Chair of the Workforce Development Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:30 AM on February 1, 2023, in Room 120 of the Capitol Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Baker moved that the minutes of January 25, 2023, be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 20 (Greenman); Wage credits modified and reimbursement provided, and general fund transfer authorized.

Chair Xiong moved that HF 20 be re-referred to the Committee on Education Finance.

Chair Xiong moved to adopt the A3 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Rep. Greenman presented HF 20 as amended.

Chair Xiong renewed his motion that HF 20 as amended be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Education Finance. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
