WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE

Representative Jay Xiong, Chair of the Workforce Development Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:30 AM on February 8, 2023, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Nelson moved that the minutes of January 25, 2023, be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 100 (Stephenson); Omnibus cannabis bill.

Chair Xiong moved that HF 100 be re-referred to the Committee on Human Services Policy.

Chair Xiong moved to adopt the A47 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Rep. Stephenson presented HF 100 as amended.

Rep. Wiens moved the A45 amendment. THE MOTION DID NOT PREVAIL.

Chair Xiong renewed the motion that HF 100 as amended be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Human Services Policy. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The meeting was adjourned at 9:13 AM.
