MINUTES

Representative West, Chair of the Children and Families Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 3:15 PM. on February 19, 2025, in Room 123 of the State Capitol Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Hanson moved the minutes of February 18, 2025, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The Committee heard a presentation on daycare licensing.

• Joshua Truax, Father of child enrolled at Lil’ Explorers Childcare Center
• Alyssa Dotson, Deputy Inspector General, Department of Human Services

Rep. Nelson assumed the gavel 3:45 PM.

Chair West assumed the gavel 3:53 PM.
