MINUTES

Representative West, Chair of the Children and Families Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 3:00 PM. on March 5, 2025, in Room 123 of the State Capitol Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Vice-Chair Nelson moved the minutes of March 4, 2025, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The committee heard presentations on childcare regulation modernization.

Brandon Tice, Policy Analyst, Minnesota Department of Human Services Office of Inspector General.
Clare Sanford, Government Relations Chair, Minnesota Child Care Association.
Cyndi Cunningham, Chairperson, Lead and Care Public Policy.
Ericca Maas, Think Small.


The meeting was adjourned at 4:47 PM.
