CHILDREN AND FAMILIES FINANCE POLICY MEETING MINUTES

Representative Kotyza-Witthuhn, Chair of the Children and Families Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, in Room 123 of the Capitol Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Hemmingsen-Jaeger moved the minutes of April 1, 2025. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 1367 (Pinto) - Judicial review of child maltreatment occurring outside of Minnesota allowed, and local welfare agency responsibility for assessing or investigating alleged maltreatment occurring outside of state provided.

Chair Kotyza-Witthuhn moved that HF1367 be re-referred to the General Register.

Representative Pinto presented HF 1367.

HF 1685 (Kraft) - Commissioner of Minnesota IT Services directed to integrate the transit assistance program into the Minnesota benefits web portal, and money appropriated.
