MINUTES

Representative O’Driscoll, Chair of the Commerce Finance and Policy Committee, officially called the meeting to order at 8:16AM, on February 20, 2025, in Room 120 of the Capitol Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Falconer moved the minutes of February 19, 2025 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED


HF 1014 (Reyer) Minnesota Insurance Guarantee Association board allowed to request financial information for insureds

Representative Reyer moved HF 1014 be placed on the General Register.

Testifiers:
Jeff Christensen, Executive Director, Minnesota Insurance Guaranty Association

Representative Reyer renewed the motion that HF 1014 be placed on the General Register.


HF 320 (Perryman) Auto dealers allowed to participate in auto shows, and auto shows in which auto dealers may participate established

Representative Perryman moved HF 320 be placed on the General Register.

Representative Perryman renewed the motion that HF 320 be placed on the General Register.


HF 747 (Niska) Minnesota Business Corporation Act modified.

Chair O’Driscoll moved HF 747 be re-referred to the Judiciary Finance and Civil Law Committee.

Chair O’Driscoll renewed the motion that HF 747 be re-referred to the Judiciary Finance and Civil Law Committee.


HF 400 (Perryman) Commissioner of commerce required to defray costs to health plan companies for additional benefits.

Chair O’Driscoll moved HF 400 before the committee.
