MINUTES

Representative O’Driscoll, Chair of the Commerce Finance and Policy Committee, officially called the meeting to order at 8:17AM, on March 5, 2025, in Room 120 of the Capitol Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

The Committee went into recess at 8:17AM

The Committee reconvened at 8:31AM

Representative Kresha moved the minutes of March 4, 2025 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED


HF 737 (Olson) Cadmium paint prohibition eliminated.

Chair O’Driscoll moved HF 737 be re-referred to Environment and Natural Resources Finance and Policy Committee.

Chair O’Driscoll moved the A2 amendment be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Smith moved the A3 amendment be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair O’Driscoll renewed the motion that HF 737 as amended be re-referred to Environment and Natural Resources Finance and Policy Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.



HF 247 (Koznick) More than one Nonoxygenated gasoline storage tank allowed.

Chair O’Driscoll moved the DE1 amendment be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair O’Driscoll renewed the motion that HF 247 as amended be placed on the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.



HF 325 (Engen) Sale of flavored nitrous Oxide prohibited.

Chair O’Driscoll moved HF 325 before the committee be laid over for possible inclusion in a future omnibus bill.

Chair O’Driscoll renewed the motion that HF 325 be laid over.



HF 1330 (Van Binsbergen) Commerce; gasoline specifications updated.

Representative Van Binsbergen moved HF 1330 be placed on the General Register.
