COMMERCE FINANCE AND POLICY MINUTES

Representative Kaohly Vang Her, Co-Chair of the Commerce Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:15 A.M. on April 1, 2025, in Room 120 of the Capitol Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

GOP Vice-Chair Perryman moved that the minutes of March 27, 2025, be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF2543 (Reyer) Various statutory forms pertaining to garnishment modified.

Rep. Reyer moved HF2543 be placed on the general register.

Rep. Reyer renewed the motion HF2543 be placed on the general register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF2566 (Reyer) Process for removing fraudulent business filings established, rulemaking authorized, and money appropriated.

Rep. Reyer moved HF2566 be re-referred to the State Government Finance and Policy Committee.

Rep. Reyer renewed the motion to re-refer HF2566 to the State Government Finance and Policy Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF2627 (Norris) Pet shops prohibited from selling cats and dogs.

Chair Her moved HF2627 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.
