MINUTES

Representative Kresha, Chair of the Education Finance Committee, began the meeting at 1:00PM, on February 20, 2025, in Room 120 of the Capitol Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Bakeberg moved the minutes of February 18, 2025, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF56 (Lawrence) Safe Schools Aid Created, Student Support Personnel Aid Repealed
Representative Lawrence moved HF56 before the committee.

Representative Lawrence moved the A1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

The House Research Department presented an overview of HF56:

HF780 (Kresha) Forecast Adjustments to Prekindergarten through Grade 12
Education Programs
Representative Kresha moved that HF780 be re-referred to the Ways and Means Committee.

The House Research Department presented an overview of HF780:

Representative Kresha renewed his motion that HF780 be re-referred to the Ways and Means Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED
