MINUTES

Representative Kresha, Chair of the Education Finance Committee, began the meeting at 1:00PM, on March 4, 2025, in Room 120 of the Capitol Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Mueller moved the minutes of February 27, 2025, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 984 (CLARDY) - ELEMENTARY COUNSELING SERVICES FOR NONPUBLIC PUPILS INCLUDED IN NONPUBLIC PUPIL AID, AND MONEY APPROPRIATED.

Chair Kresha moved HF984 before the committee.

Representative Clardy presented on HF984.

Chair Kresha laid over HF984 for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill or further consideration at a later date.

HF921 (KRESHA) – AID AND LEVY ADJUSTMENTS WHEN A TAX INCREMENT FINANCE EXCESS IS RECEIVED BY THE SCHOOL DISTRICT

Chair Kresha moved that HF921 be placed on the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF922 (KRESHA) - AID AND LEVY AMOUNTS FOR COMMUNITY EDUCATION PROGRAMS CLARIFIED.

Chair Kresha moved that HF922 be re-referred to the Taxes Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
