House Education Policy Committee

MINUTES

Representative Bennett, Chair of the Education Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 3:00 PM, on April 1, 2025, in Room G23 of the Capitol Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Falconer moved the minutes of March 26, 2025, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1306 (Jordan) - Kindergarten through grade 12 education changes made; general education, education excellence, charter schools, Read Act, special education, school nutrition, and state agencies provisions modified; and reports required.

Cristina Parra, Legislative Analyst, Minnesota House Research Department, presented a section-by-section review of the H1306DE1 amendment.
