MINUTES

Representative Quam, Chair of the Elections Finance and Government Operations Committee, began the meeting at 1:00 PM, on ¬¬¬¬¬March 12, 2025, in Room G23 of the State Capitol Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Lee moved the minutes of March 10, 2025, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 2105 (NASH) DEFINITIONS RELATED TO LOBBYING AMENDED, AND CERTAIN LOBBYIST COMMUNICATIONS MADE EXEMPT FROM DISCLOSURE REQUIREMENTS.

Chair Quam moved HF2105 before the committee.

HF 1723 (ZELEZNIKAR) UNCLASSIFIED SERVICE AND APPOINTMENT PROVISIONS FOR ST. LOUIS COUNTY MODIFIED, AND OBSOLETE COUNTY APPROPRIATION FOR HISTORICAL WORK REMOVED.

Representative McDonald moved the bill before the committee.

Chair Quam moved the A1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative McDonald moved HF1723, as amended, be placed on the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.


HF 1840 (ALTENDORF) STANDARD FOR DETERMINING THE RESIDENCE OF AN INDIVIDUAL SUBJECT TO A CIVIL COMMITMENT ORDER ESTABLISHED.

Representative Altendorf moved HF1840 before the committee.

Representative Altendorf moved the DE2 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Altendorf moved HF1840, as amended, be rereferred to Human Services committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
