MINUTES

Representative Sexton assumed the gavel at 1:00 PM.

Representative Sexton, a member of the Energy Finance and Policy Committee called the meeting to order at 1:00 PM, on April 3, 2025, in Room 123 of the Capitol Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Igo moved the minutes of April 1, 2025, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.


HF 1366 (Heintzeman) - Brainerd; energy efficiency projects funding
provided, and money appropriated.

Representative Sexton moved HF1366 before the committee.

Representative Sexton moved to adopt the A1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Sexton laid over HF1366 as amended.

Representative Wiener assumed the gavel at 1:18 PM.

HF 2803 (Hudson) - Certain energy generating facilities required to be
certified as child labor free, and certain products required to be certified as
child labor free.

Representative Wiener moved HF2803 before the committee.

Representative Wiener moved to adopt the DE1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Wiener laid over HF2803, as amended.

Representative Mekeland assumed the gavel at 1:49 PM.

HF 1859 (Burkel) - Wind energy conversion systems residential setbacks established.

Representative Mekeland moved HF1859 before the committee.

Representative Mekeland moved to adopt the DE1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
