MINUTES

Representative Josh Heintzeman, Chair of the Environment and Natural Resources Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 1:00 PM, February 20, 2025, in Room G3 of the Capitol Building.

A quorum was present.

Representative Falconer moved the minutes of February 13, 2025 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

H.F. 413 (Franson) Age to angle without a license modified.

Chair Heintzeman moved that HF 413 be laid over for possible inclusion in a future bill.

The following individual testified on HF 413:

Pat Rivers, Department of Natural Resources Deputy Director, Fish and Wildlife Division.

Chair Heintzeman laid over HF 413.

H.F. 276 (Nash) Fishing license fees reduced for persons 65 years of age and older, and money transferred.

Chair Heintzeman moved that HF 276 be laid over for possible inclusion in a future bill.

The following individual testified on HF 276:

Pat Rivers, Department of Natural Resources Deputy Director, Fish and Wildlife Division.

The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency provided an agency overview. The presenter was:
