Representative Josh Heintzeman, Chair of the Environment and Natural Resources Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 1:01 PM, on April 1, 2025, in Room G3 of the Capitol Building.

Representative Gillman moved the minutes of March 27, 2025, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF 2824 (Nash) Continuous open season for taking largemouth and smallmouth bass provided.
Chair Heintzeman moved HF 2824 before the committee.
The following individuals testified on HF 2824:

Brad Parsons, Department of Natural Resources.
Chair Heintzeman laid over HF 2824 for possible inclusion in a future bill.
HF 623 (Swedzinski) Shotgun zone for taking deer eliminated.
Chair Heintzeman moved HF 623 before the committee.
Chair Heintzeman moved the H0623DE1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Schultz moved HF 647 before the committee.
Representative Schultz moved the H0647DE1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Jacob moved that HF 1249 be re-referred to the Ways and Means Committee.
Representative Jacob moved the H1249DE1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
