HOUSING FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE MINUTES

Representative Michael Howard, Chair of the Committee on Housing Finance and Policy, called the meeting to order at 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, in Room G3 of the Capitol.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Kozlowski moved that the minutes of March 13th, 2025, be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 2144 (Momanyi-Hiltsley) Family homeless prevention and assistance program funding provided, and money appropriated.

Chair Howard moved that HF 2144 be laid over.

Representative Momanyi-Hiltsley moved the A1 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Momanyi-Hiltsley presented HF 2144 as amended.

HF 1141 (Howard) Issuance of housing infrastructure bonds authorized, and money appropriated.

Vice Chair Kozlowski moved that HF 1141 be laid over.

HF 2480 (Howard) Housing; public corporations authorized relating to properties converted under the federal Rental Assistance Demonstration program, and funding authorized through the MHFA.

Chair Howard moved that HF 2480 be laid over.

Representative Agbaje moved that HF 2148 be laid over for possible inclusion.

Representative Agbaje moved that the A1 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED., THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
