MINUTES

Representative Igo, Chair of the Housing Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 3:00 PM, on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, in Room G3 of the Capitol Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Vice Chair Dotseth moved the minutes of March 25, 2025, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1902 (Nash) Housing Finance Agency required to promote information on the rights and obligations of landlords and residential tenants.

Representative Nash moved HF1902 before the committee.

Representative Nash renewed the motion that HF1902 be laid over.

HF935 (Nash) Criminal history background checks permitted for nonresident tenant organizers.

Representative Nash moved HF935 before the committee.

HF2309 (Rehrauer) Housing provisions modified, rental assistance program funding provisions modified, program eligibility criteria expanded, workforce housing project funding restrictions removed, housing aid fund uses clarified, and high-rise sprinkler system program provisions modified.

Chair Igo moved HF2309 before the committee.
