MINUTES

Representative Igo, Chair of the Housing Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 3:02 PM, on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, in Room G3 of the Capitol Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Skraba moved the minutes of April 1, 2025, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF933 (Nash) Municipal powers to require planned unit developments limited, and planned unit development agreements regulated.

Representative Nash moved HF933 before the committee.

Representative Nash renewed the motion that HF933 be laid over.

HF1931 (Bahner) Authority provided to the attorney general to enforce laws related to common interest communities.

Representative Mekeland moved HF1931 be re-referred to the Judiciary Finance and Civil Law Committee.

Representative Mekeland renewed the motion that HF1931 be re-referred to the Judiciary Finance and Civil Law Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF2309 (Rehrauer) Housing provisions modified, rental assistance program funding provisions modified, program eligibility criteria expanded, workforce housing project funding restrictions removed, housing aid fund uses clarified, and high-rise sprinkler system program provisions modified.

Representative Rehrauer moved HF2309 be re-referred to the General Register.

Chair Howard moved the H2309A1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Howard moved the H2309A2 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Igo moved the H2309A4 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Igo moved the H2309A5 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Rehrauer renewed the motion that HF2309, as amended, be re-referred to the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
