MINUTES

Representative Joe Schomacker, Chair of the Human Services Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:17AM on February 26, 2025, in Room 123 of the Capitol Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Backer moved the minutes of Feb 25, 2025, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.


HF 729 (Noor) – Medical assistance provisions modified relating to care evaluations, homemaker services rates, and home care.

Rep. Noor moved to lay over HF 729 for future consideration.

Rep. Noor moved to adopt the A1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Schomacker laid over HF 729 as amended.

HF 728 (Hicks) – Out-of-home respite care for children services modified.

Rep. Hicks moved to lay over HF 728 for future consideration.
