Representative Joe Schomacker, Chair of the Human Services Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:17AM on February 27, 2025, in Room 123 of the Capitol Building. A quorum was present.

Representative Noor moved the minutes of Feb 26, 2025, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Leah Solo, Executive Director of the Nursing Home Workforce Standards Board provided an overview of the Nursing Home Workforce Standards Board.
Vice Chair Gillman assumed the gavel at 9:02AM.
HF 1419 (Schomacker) – Elderly waiver rates and nursing facility reimbursement rates modified.
Chair Schomacker moved HF 1419 before the committee.

HF 500 (Zeleznikar) – Nursing Home Workforce Standards Board repealed.
Chair Schomacker moved that HF 500 be re-referred to the Workforce, Labor, and Economic Development Finance and Policy Committee.
Chair Schomacker moved to adopt the DE2 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
