MINUTES

Representative Joe Schomacker, Chair of the Human Services Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:18AM on March 4, 2025, in Room 123 of the Capitol Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Vice Chair Gillman moved the minutes of Feb 27, 2025, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Kristy Graume, Legislative Director at DHS, and Diogo Reis, Health Improvement and Benefit Design Division Manager at DHS, presented the MN Health Care Programs Fee-for-Service Outpatient Service Rate Study.

HF 1005 (Bierman) – Medical assistance rate adjustments established for physician professional services, residential service rates increased, and statewide reimbursement rate for behavioral health home services required.

Chair Schomacker moved HF 1005 before the committee.

Chair Schomacker moved to adopt the DE1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
