MINUTES

Representative Joe Schomacker, Chair of the Human Services Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:15AM on March 19, 2025, in Room 123 of the Capitol Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Virnig moved the minutes of March 18, 2025, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 1358 (Repinski) – Winona County; supplementary services rate authorized for mental health facilities

Chair Schomacker moved HF 1358 before the committee.

Chair Schomacker laid over HF 1358.

HF 1973 (Perryman) – Catholic Charities of St. Cloud senior dining program funding provided, and money appropriated.

Chair Schomacker moved HF 1973 before the committee.

Chair Schomacker moved the A1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Waiver Reimaging Status Update from the Department of Human Services was presented by DHS Budget Director Elyse Bailey and Aging and Disability Chief Administrative Office Colin Stemper.
