PUBLIC SAFETY FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES

Representative Kelly Moller, Chair of the Committee on Public Safety Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 3:00 PM on, March 18th, 2025, in Room 120 of the State Capitol Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Tabke moved the minutes of March 12th, 2025, to be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1998 (Rarick) Victim notification to order for protection and harassment restraining order violations not prosecuted extended, and victim notification requirements clarified and updated for law enforcement agencies and prosecutors.

Chair Moller moved that HF1998 be placed on the General Register

Chair Moller moved the HF1998A2 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
