PUBLIC SAFETY FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES

Representative Kelly Moller and Representative Paul Novotny, Co-Chairs of the Committee on Public Safety Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 3:01 PM on April 8th, 2025, in Room 120 of the State Capitol Building.

Vice Chair Feist moved the minutes of April 2nd, 2025, to be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF2432 (Novotny) Protection from report of fictitious emergency extended to all state or local correctional employees; Tribal Nation access and use of community supervisions services subsidy clarified; post-incarceration supervision provisions codified; obsolete administrative rules repealed; various other public safety, judiciary, and corrections provisions modified; and money appropriated.

Chair Moller moved to re-refer HF2432 to the Ways and Means Committee.

Chair Novotny moved the HF2432DE2 Amendment.
