Rules and Legislative Administration Committee Minutes

Representative Jamie Long, Co-Chair of the Committee on Rules and Legislative Administration, called the meeting to order at 11:18 am on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 in Capitol G3.

Members Absent:

A quorum was present.

Representative Pursell moved the minutes from May, 2025. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Co-Chair Long moved the adoption of the Calendar for the Day pursuant to rule 1.21 & 3.33, The Committee on Rules and Legislative Administration designates Friday, May 9th, 2025 for the adoption of the Calendar for the Day.

Representative Schultz moved SF908 to be included on the calendar for the day.

Co-Chair Long requested a roll call.

The Clerk took the roll.

Co-Chair Long renewed his motion for the adoption of the Calendar for the Day pursuant to rule 1.21 & 3.33, The Committee on Rules and Legislative Administration designates Friday, May 9th, 2025 for the adoption of the Calendar for the Day. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Long Pursuant to Joint Rule 2.03 moved HF3228 to be placed on the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Co-Vice Chair Hollins assumed the gavel.

Co-Chair Long moved that HF475 be placed on The General Register.

Co-Chair Long moved the A2 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Co-Chair Long renewed his motion for HF475, as amended, to be placed on the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.


The meeting adjourned at 11:31 am
