MINUTES

Representative Nash, Chair of the State Government Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:16 AM, on ¬¬¬¬¬March 4, 2025, in Room G23 of the Capitol Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Davis moved the minutes of February 27, 2025 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The following individuals gave an overview of Minnesota Management and Budget Overview:

Blake Chaffee, Deputy Commissioner of Minnesota Management and Budget
Britta Reitan, Deputy Commissioner of Minnesota Management and Budget
Andrew Bently, Deputy Commissioner of Minnesota Management and Budget

HF10 (Schultz) State-funded services prohibited to undocumented noncitizens, and undocumented noncitizens made ineligible for MinnesotaCare and the North Star Promise scholarship program.

Chair Nash moved HF10 be rereferred to the Ways and Means Committee.

Chair Nash moved the A2 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
