MINUTES

Representative Nash, Chair of the State Government Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:15 AM, on ¬¬¬¬¬March 25, 2025, in Room G23 of the Capitol Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Davis moved the minutes of March 20, 2025 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Davis assumed the gavel at 8:18 AM.

HF1151 (NASH) Compensation council provisions changed.

Co-Chair Nash moved HF1151 before the committee.

Co-Chair Nash moved to adopt the H1151A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPOTED.

HF1151, as amended, was laid over for possible inclusion.

Co-Chair Nash assumed the gavel at 8:22 AM.

HF1239 (QUAM) Violations of law related to misuse of public funds required to be reported to law enforcement.

Co-Chair Nash moved the following oral amendment to HF2451: On P3. L25, after the semicolon, insert “or”. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE ORAL AMEDNMENT WAS ADOPTED.
