STATE GOVERNMENT FINANCE AND POLICY MINUTES

Representative Ginny Klevorn, Co-Chair of the State Government Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:15 A.M. on March 27, 2025, in Room G23 of the Minnesota State Capitol Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Co-Chair Nash moved to approve the minutes from March 25, 2025. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Co-Vice Chair Bahner assumed the gavel at 8:16 A.M.

HF2783 (Klevorn); Code of ethics for legislative branch established; payment withholding if credible allegation of fraud exists allowed; authority to share data regarding fraud in public programs granted; renewable energy improvements, storage projects, and EVSE projects provided; and money appropriated.

Co-Chair Klevorn moved that HF2783 be laid over for possible inclusion in the State Government Finance and Policy Committee omnibus bill.

Co-Chair Klevorn moved to adopt the A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Co-Chair Klevorn presented HF2783, as amended.

Co-Chair Klevorn moved to adopt the A3 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
