Twelve omnibus bills have passed off the House floor over the last several days and nights.

Chances are, if you’re reading this, you know what an omnibus bill is and how it works.

But if you’re still confused, think of it this way: Session Daily’s ‘Week in Review’ is an omnibus story — one all-encompassing article that contains the other stories we’ve done recently.

And this week’s omnibus story is all about omnibus bills.

House members plan to continue hearing omnibus legislation on Monday, when the 11:30 a.m. floor session features just one bill on the Calendar for the Day, but it’s a biggie — HF2128, the omnibus health and human services bill.

Conference committees are expected to begin their work over the next week and you can follow their work here.

Before those begin, let’s take one last look at what you may have missed this week.
