One week ago, the House committee structure for the next two years was announced.

Now we know who will co-chair the 23 committees and one division.

Caucus speaker-designates — current House Minority Leader Lisa Demuth (R-Cold Spring) and current House Speaker Melissa Hortman (DFL-Brooklyn Park) — jointly released the choices Monday.

Committee and division membership will be equally divided between DFLers and Republicans. Those appointments will be announced later.

As things currently stand, the House will be evenly divided at 67-67, the first membership tie since 1979.
