1.3    "Sec. .... Minnesota Statutes 2022, section 201.014, subdivision 3, is amended to read:
1.4    Subd. 3. Penalty. Any individual who votes or attempts to vote who knowingly is not
1.5eligible to vote is guilty of a felony.
1.6EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.

1.7    Sec. .... Minnesota Statutes 2022, section 204C.12, is amended by adding a subdivision
1.8to read:
1.9    Subd. 4a. Notification of attempted voting by noncitizen. The head election judge
1.10must notify the county auditor or municipal clerk, and immigration and customs enforcement
1.11officials, if it is suspected that an individual who is not a United States citizen has attempted
1.12to vote.
1.13EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment."
