The House of Representatives convened at 11:00 a.m. and was
called to order by Ron Abrams, Speaker pro tempore.
Prayer was offered by Pastor Michael Williams, On Fire Ministry
Christian Center, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The members of the House gave the pledge of allegiance to the
flag of the United States of America.

The Chief Clerk proceeded to read the Journal of the preceding
day. Kohls moved that further reading
of the Journal be suspended and that the Journal be approved as corrected by
the Chief Clerk. The motion prevailed.
MOTION
TO FIX TIME TO CONVENE
Paulsen moved that when the House adjourns today it adjourn
until 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 28, 2005.

H. F. No. 99, A bill for an act relating to appropriations;
appropriating money for continued, temporary operation of state government.
The bill was read for the first time and referred to the

H. F. No. 100, A bill for an act relating to state government;
ratifying amendments to the plans governing unrepresented and managerial state
employees.

adjusting percentages of motor vehicle sales tax dedicated to transportation;
reducing appropriations for state road construction; amending Minnesota
Statutes 2004, section 297B.09, subdivision 1.

Westrom, Latz and Nornes introduced:
H. F. No. 103, A bill for an act relating to pensions; police
and fire fund; extending eligibility for survivor benefits by broadening the
definition of active duty to include pension fund members in active military
service; amending Minnesota Statutes 2004, section 353.657, subdivision 1.
The bill was read for the first time and referred to the
Committee on Rules and Legislative Administration.
MOTIONS AND RESOLUTIONS
Tingelstad moved that the name of Ozment be added as chief
author and the name of Tingelstad be shown as second author on H. F. No.
78. The motion prevailed.
Seifert moved that the name of Dean be added as an author on
H. F. No. 95. The motion
prevailed.
Dean moved that the name of Charron be added as an author on
H. F. No. 96. The motion
prevailed.
Sykora moved that the name of Hansen be added as an author on
H. F. No. 98. The motion

TO SUSPEND RULES
Olson moved that the rules be so far suspended that House Concurrent
Resolution No. 5 be recalled from the Committee on Rules and Legislative
Administration and be placed upon its adoption.
A roll call was requested and properly seconded.
