addressing a joint meeting of the 86th Session of the Minnesota Legislature on
Thursday, February 11, 2010, at 11:00 a.m., for the purpose of presenting my
State of the State message.

Sertich moved that the House accede to the
request of the Governor for a Joint Convention to hear the State of the State
message of the Governor at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 11, 2010; that the
Chief Clerk be instructed to invite the Senate to meet in Joint Convention at
10:45 a.m.; that the Governor be advised accordingly; and that the Speaker
appoint a committee of five members of the House of Representatives to act with
a similar committee to be appointed by the Senate to escort the Governor to the
Joint Convention. The motion prevailed.
