IN MEMORIAM
The members of the House of
Representatives paused for a moment of silence in memory of former Chief Clerk
of the House, Edward A. Burdick who served as Chief Clerk from 1967 to 2005 and
was employed by the Minnesota House of Representatives since 1941. Mr. Burdick passed away today, Wednesday,
March 9, 2011.
The Chief Clerk proceeded to read the
Journal of the preceding day. There
being no objection, further reading of the Journal was dispensed with and the
Journal was approved as corrected by the Chief Clerk.
