      A quorum was present.

 

      Albright; Anderson, M.; Mariani and Ward were excused.

 

      Allen, Clark and Sundin were excused until 1:20 p.m.  Halverson was excused until 1:55 p.m.  Dill was excused until 2:35 p.m.

 

      The Chief Clerk proceeded to read the Journal of the preceding day.  There being no objection, further reading of the Journal was dispensed with and the Journal was approved as corrected by the Chief Clerk.

      S. F. No. 417 and H. F. No. 288, which had been referred to the Chief Clerk for comparison, were examined and found to be identical with certain exceptions.

 

      O'Neill moved that S. F. No. 417 be substituted for H. F. No. 288 and that the House File be indefinitely postponed.  The motion prevailed.

 

 

      S. F. No. 986 and H. F. No. 1085, which had been referred to the Chief Clerk for comparison, were examined and found to be identical with certain exceptions.

 

      Garofalo moved that S. F. No. 986 be substituted for H. F. No. 1085 and that the House File be indefinitely postponed.  The motion prevailed.
