1.2Page 8, delete section 13 and insert:

1.3    "Sec. 13. [219.381] WALKWAY EXEMPTIONS.
1.4    Subdivision 1. Existing track. (a) Section 219.373, paragraphs (b) to (h), and
1.5sections 219.374 to 219.379 and 219.382 do not apply to track placed in revenue service
1.6before the effective date of this section until such a date and time as track and supporting
1.7structure is repaired, resurfaced, replaced, remodeled, or otherwise reconditioned, or as
1.8ordered by the commissioner of transportation pursuant to paragraph (b).
1.9    (b) The commissioner of transportation shall issue an order requiring the construction
1.10or maintenance of a walkway alongside track described in paragraph (a) on determining,
1.11after notice and hearing, that the construction or maintenance of a walkway alongside the
1.12track is necessary to eliminate an unsafe or hazardous condition."
1.13Renumber the sections in sequence and correct the internal references
1.14Amend the title accordingly
