1.2Delete everything after the enacting clause and insert:

1.3    "Section 1. WORKERS' COMPENSATION EXCLUSION INFORMATION.
1.4    The commissioner of labor and industry shall provide information to all medical
1.5care providers, employers, employees, insurers, and other individuals and organizations
1.6involved in the workers' compensation system in Minnesota regarding federal exclusions
1.7from state workers' compensation coverage under Minnesota Statutes, section 176.041,
1.8subdivision 1.

1.9    Sec. 2. REPORT.
1.10    The commissioner of labor and industry shall submit a report by March 1, 2008, to
1.11the committees of the house of representatives and senate with jurisdiction over workers'
1.12compensation issues detailing the department's dissemination of information required
1.13under section 1.

1.14    Sec. 3. EFFECTIVE DATE.
1.15    Sections 1 and 2 are effective the day following final enactment."
1.16Delete the title and insert:
1.18relating to workers' compensation; requiring the commissioner of labor and
1.19industry to provide information regarding federal exclusions from state workers'
1.20compensation coverage; requiring a report."
